To the UW Earth and Space Science applicants below who were rejected: care to share any details about your application and contact with the department? I'm anxiously waiting to hear from them but still nothing.

below average gpa, above average gre, 5 papers, 1 grant

No funding as of yet, but on a waitlist for a fellowship.

To the poster who asked if s/he should retake the GRE to improve eligibility: 1. Most schools post the average scores of those admitted. You can access this information in their website, or Google average scores for PhD candidates in C.P. 2. Your scores honestly seem high enough. I would not focus on this aspect of your application.

Have not yet received the official letter, so I do not know for sure if with funding.
