University Of Washington Graduate School Admission Results

Got a rej from the program coordinator, said they cannot offer me admission but I can be considered to enroll in the master's program. No, definitely no, i already got my master's degree from UCSD.

Had an interview this week and got a rejection email and an official email to check the portal.

Email to check portal. Masters GPA 3.69, 3 pubs total, 2 first author, not including a first author review almost ready to be submitted. Second time applying. Bummed, but I already have a great option anyway. Congrats to all who were admitted!

hep-ph/th. I emailed them and they said I am on the waitlist and they do not extend any offers to the waitlist until the end of March.

My profile didn't really fit what they were looking for. It's a new program (began in 2021 I believe) that is more focused towards preparation for CRM work than research. Also out of state. No interview. One reference was submitted late.

It's a MA/PHD program. One of my top choices, subfield is medieval literature.

GPA is MA. Poured my heart into this, really bummed. This was my ticket home to the PNW. Just did my MA in Europe. Led my own research team, worked in the department as a research assistant for two years. Tons of conferences, etc. Letter of rec from a renowned scholar in my field.

A wondrous and pleasing acceptance to a robust program. I'm going to have a lot of difficult choices to make!
