University Of Toronto Graduate School Admission Results

This was not my first choice program and I should have never applied to more than one but I thought I'd share when I was rejected to inform others.

Last week I received a generic rejection letter to the MA SJE program as well as a generic acceptance letter for the MEd SJE program. The MEd program is not funded and quite expensive. Not sure if I will accept the offer as I have also received a 17K funding package for another program in another university. Good luck to everyone as they make their decisions.

No interview.

Got my acceptance letter today for the MEd program and I'm extremely thrilled. I also applied for the MEd in Counselling & Psychotherapy so I'm still waiting for a response from that program. I'm pretty sure I will end up accepting the DPE program.

TTPB: Have you heard anything from the department? I have been waiting for a decision as well and my POI did not have any information.

TTPB: After my interview, she offered me admission to the MA program. She said I'll receive an official letter soon (idk when...maybe this week or the next). My guess is that before my interview on the 15th, they were already contacting students. My POI is EJ.

Accepted off of the wait list. International applicant. Absolutely thrilled.

Second time applying, rejected again... Canadian student with B.Sci undergrad in Architecture, 3.53 GPA, 4 years of professional working experience in the field (90% completed NCARB hours). Took an additional year off to revise my portfolio and essays. Received 3 other offers (Waterloo, Pratt, and Michigan) with $$ and currently on waitlist at another. Won't be taking a third try at Daniels.. Very surprised and let down..

They gave me some funding with more available in the second year, depending on my grades and merit.

Non-Arch background with very strong marks in undergrad. Received email saying to check online for decision

Was accepted into MEd but I applied for MA. MEd is not funded and very expensive for an American student. I love this community though and I'm very thankful but cannot accept.

emailed to check portal. Undergrad at UofT part time while working full time. Graduated 2015. Applied for full-time MSc. Accepted elsewhere with full funding so not too dissapointed.

Accepted off waitlist. Domestic applicant.

International. Have Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Also an MS.c in community health and epidemilogy from Usask. Have two years relevant work (statistical analysis with StatsCan data). I don't think they get students from programs other than math/stats and alike.
