Computational And Applied Mathematics, University of Chicago To the poster who asked yesterday: I also have not heard back yet. My best guess is that we are still under consideration, and every time someone accepts/rejects they are updating the list of people waiting. Hoping for the best!

(MAPSS) Master Of Arts In Social Sciences, University of Chicago Received a detailed email explaining the main factor for the rejection. The potential supervisor will be on leave (but this information wasn't stated on the website when I wrote the SOP....)and my writing sample is irrelevant to the specific area that I want to research on, making the committee hard to assess my research ability. Really sad.......................

Economics, University of Chicago I don't remember when I was accepted, but I was offered 1/2 scholarship. I got it bumped up to 2/3. I provided additional writing samples, institutional scholarships (academic), research programs, of course, other offers I have, and my induction into Phi Beta Kappa, that and I am giving the honorary speech at graduation. I'm not sure if I'll accept it. The offer is nice, but I'm on a WL at my top school. That and a statistics masters is significantly more practical than an economics one.

Public Policy, University of Chicago Applied in the first round for the Obama Fellows Program and the MPP. Just before Christmas, the program reached out asking to arrange a phone call. Was informed I was admitted to the MPP. A few weeks later, I received my formal acceptance letter via the online portal on January 14, 2019, which also noted that I had received a $20k scholarship per year.
