Philosophy, University of Chicago Very excited. I got an email to check my status. The "view update" link took me to a letter saying rejected from Phd, accepted to MA. Scholarship for 50% tuition. My best offer so far.

Philosophy, University of Chicago Email to check website. It's difficult to find the decision. Go into the application and look at the 'update' at the top. Didn't even get MAPH offer. Offered funding elsewhere, so not too upset. Just surprised. Frankly, I can't imagine what sort of credentials they were looking for in order to accept an applicant to the MAPH. Also, they need people who are willing to pay a fortune for a degree that they didn't want in the first place.

Philosophy, University of Chicago To the poster below, I was sent an email with a link on it that opened the letter saying I was not admitted to PhD program but was admitted to MAPH. If I check the application through the link I had it just says "Submitted" under status. Going to reject MA

Philosophy, University of Chicago Can anyone who has posted (or is going to post) about Chicago clarify two points: 1) Are rejections coming by email or notices to check the website? 2) Where on the website did you see the status of rejected and the offer for the MA program? Just in the status portion of your application that used to say "Submitted"? Thanks!
