Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University I suspect I was admitted because I am a woman in engineering. However, since I received no funding or travel reimbursement, I will be taking my studies elsewhere unless I get an NSF fellowship.

Center For East Asian Studies (CEAS), Stanford University Thought I was gonna get into this program based on the statistics released on the program's website. Ok though, not a perfect fit after all. Got into another top 10 MA with some funding.
