Applied to HCP. 8 years work experience, Strong GRE, Good LOR. Have MSEE from UCLA, going for second part-time MSCS. Accepted by USC, waiting for GT. No Research papers. Had a average GPA at UCLA (3.3) but good UG GPA. No idea what kind of superheroes they are looking for.

Got an email from POI informing me I'd be invited out for an interview. 3 summers research (1 REU in Costa Rica), 1 year-long research thesis, 2 years post-graduation working in DC on federal science policy, 2 first author biology pub, 2 forthcoming science policy pubs (first author and second author), 5 presentations at symposiums and conferences, and graduated from ivy league.

For posters below, applied physics is the department that sent the mass rejection letter. I don't think the physics department has sent anything yet (but I guess I can't know that 100% for sure).

Looks like notifications for interviews were sent out today for the Biology department. Unfortunately I did not get one :( Was hoping for the Hopkins Station Background: No pubs but multiple research experiences, several months interning abroad in a prestigious marine biology program.
