I'm kind of surprised: 5 years of research, 1 pub, 1 in review in journal of oncology, worked on brain tumor research, 1 conference proposal, Ivy league MS/MA 3.75+, 4 excellent letters, good fit, I also have a learning disability, so I'm underrepresented in medical research. Guess they care more about standardized scores than anything else.
