TPB: Congratulations! Would you mind telling us when you uploaded the course information? A few days ago, some applicants received an email from Dr. Eraslan stating that they have not finalized the second round review. I am wondering if they have created different polls of applications, and they are still reviewing the materials uploaded on 16 Feb.

I had a video conference with Prof. Eraslan and have been admitted with full funding.

Had to email the damn admission office because they wouldn't give me a bloody decision.

Got the same email as the below post for an interview with faculty

There are 11 students in the shortlist and 3 of them will be admitted.

called the assistant to the program asking for the check-up of my status. they told me they have finished the first round. the second round would presumably start around April 5th

Ttpb: I applied to PhD program. I dont remember choosing Ms/phd and I guess I didn't.

To the poster below, did you apply at Rice University for the Ph.D. program only or did you apply for the MS/Ph.D. program?

Got an Email for interview wkth faculty memeber. I have 5 days to fill the form (to choose 3 faculty members) and send it back to them

They sent the interview invitation to students in the shortlist. The main interview is about the research experience.

I received an email about the delay in interview from Hulya Eraslan, said that there is no correlation between the quality of your application and the unexpected delay. So we can still have hope for interview.

TPB: They request me to choose all possible slots from 2.27-3.3. The email starts with "Dear Applicant", so I think it may not be a specific email.

An email from a grad student. “a zoom interview conducted by two PhD students”? Weird. What will they ask?
