Did you guys mail the Rice university I did not get any email or update in my portal?

Got an email saying there is an update on the portal. Portal had a waitlist form on which you can respond by saying you either wish to stay on the waitlist or dropout.

TTPB who asked how I was informed I was waitlisted. They sent me an email on March 1-st saying that I was waitlisted and that the department will do a second round of offers around the end of March.

TTPB who asked about the waitlisted candidates: I wanted to check how you know you are waitlisted. I haven't received anything, and there is nothing on the application portal. I contracted the program last week. They said that no decision had been made on my application, and all decisions were expected to be sent out by the coming week. Did you get an email for your application status?

Writing an email to inquire about the application status this morning. Then, received an email to check the portal right now. For those who got better offers, please decline Rice's offer. Do appreciate your kindness and hope there is a bright future for us.
