I actually received a grant and was notified of it in the admission packet that arrived a week after the letter was posted online. So, be patient!

(Computer Science ), Northwestern University The review process for MS applicants for Fall 2018 admission is underway and may continue until the end of May. The admission committee currently has a large number of applications to review. Because of the size and diversity of the EECS department, admissions are managed by the research divisions rather than a central committee. Applicants in different areas will be hearing at different times. Unfortunately, we cannot be more specific about the decision timeline.
