copypaste email from EECS admission chair saying I've been waitlisted along with ~50 others across EECS subareas. EECS apply portal is still blank.

I am sad to receive this email. "I am truly sorry to inform you that we are not offering you admission to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The number of applicants to the graduate program far exceeds the number that can be accommodated and therefore only a small fraction of applicants can be accepted. We appreciate your interest in our department and hope that you are able to pursue your graduate studies elsewhere."

Pretty sad...

Received a short email.

I reached my POI today and was told that the admissions this year were closed. It's sad but reasonable. I am not sure how many people are still waiting but good luck.

Transportation focus. Short rejection email.

Same as the poster below, got an email on 26 Feb saying that the decision was awaited, and received an email today saying that the application has been rejected. Probably, the renewable energy area took more time than the others. Congratulations to all those who received admits!
