Rejected after two interviews in Jan and quite positive email/phone feedback before application deadline. Not sad at all - because I did not keep my hopes up, and for sure this is a super competitive program. And I am going to another program for PhD.

Hello to the poster below. Sure! I did 4 years of virology research during my undergrad outside of US and three research undergrad internships in the US. I currently have one and a half year of post-bac in the US, also in virology. I have 2 research papers and 1 review as a co-author and I am working on 2 first-author papers.
