Bioengineering, Harvard University hi, i'm poster below w/ unofficial acceptance from 2/5. Saw a lot of questions in forum so I'll tell ya what I know. Prof (not in SOP) reached out to me requesting Skype interview, he told me that the professors get a list of all the students who state interest on application in their subfield (ie. biophysics or mechanics) and then can interview them. Afterwards, they click the button accepting the student if they like them. I got official notice from Harvard on 2/13.
