Emailed and told that I was a first alternate, but that all three initial offers of admission had been accepted. That's pretty discouraging, and this was my last shot. Off to find a new career to help me pay off my student loans.

PDF letter attached to an email. It was short & sweet (sans sweet) and when the body of the email said "We wish you all the best for the future," that was a spoiler alert. Not too sad about it since I already knew I didn't get in when their welcome weekend passed without me at it in Feb. Great program though.
