Statistics undergrad with minor in CS from a German uni. Very good GPA, strong LoRs I guess.

ETH BsC in CS with a 5.6/6.0 GPA

1 internship, 2 research papers (1 first author, 1 third author), 8 months of work experience in the field, 1.5 years of research experience. Got notified by email, official offer will come by post later.

2 years work experience. Good grades in undergrad. Email notification. Letter to follow.

2 years relevant corporate work experience (but no publications and research experience). Decent GPA but not top 20% of graduating class.

Interview for ESOP/MSP

BSc in Cognitive Science from german uni (2 of the official prerequisites courses are missing in my undergrad. I explained how I fulfil the rest of the prerequisites as a comment on the application), top 5% of my class, 9 month research in slightly unrelated field, no publications, strong recommendations.

Biochemistry major; 2 years of bioinformatics experience;

not surprised but still hurts. Had research experience, decent grades and gre, 1 publication. what can you do but move on! Good luck to everyone, and if anyone's wondering the disappearance of the withdrawal button just means your application is under review. Doesn't mean accept or reject.

3.2/4.0 GPA, GRE Q:166/V:162/AW:4, TOEFL:115, 1 conference paper, 2.5 years software development exp. with SAP Labs, Strong LoRs, Good SoP

Q 162 V 138 AW 2.5 my English skill is very poor, so no excuse. i studied in University of Tokyo. 1,2 years Liberal arts course: Awful. I didn't study at all. Instead of studying, I did martial arts and got first prize in all Japan competition. GPA in Liberal arts is 2.67. 3, 4 years engineering course: my specialization was complex theory. But I learned programming and machine learning in my faculty. Graduation thesis was about game theory with machine learning agents. Best grade(GPA = 3.81) in my faculty. No publication at the time. Nothing in related field. Firstly, I should improve my English more. Secondly, I should experience in related field and more conference. Thirdly, should get some awards if it's possible.

Has anyone heard from ETH for the Bologna Application period ? Especially in MSc. Computer Science - Data Science. To the people who had been expected to the same in the international application period, can you please share your profiles (GRE, TOEFL, GPA, research/work experience) ?
