Received 50% scholarships. They got back to me like towards the end of January which was super early. Knowing that I got in this early made me stress less about my other applications. I keep wondering though about how many people they are accepting and how competitive it was. Still waiting to hear back 6 other schools

Admission letters has been already sent out, rejections will come early this week. Congratulations to all the admitted students.

Sent an email to phd@cs.dartmouth.edu inquiring the admission process 2 days ago, they said "They hope to have all letters out by early next week." Fingers crossed

Does anyone know about the admissions process? I have recently interviewed with POI and it went well, but he did not respond to my emails after the interview :)

emailed POI, got informed that I was on the waitlist and unlikely to be admitted. It could be simply rejection and POI was being nice.

I talked to ppl at Dartmouth, and they basically pick 10-15 ppl each year for cs phd. If you didnt get the acceptance, it is mostly likely reject.

I haven't heard from them, does that mean rejection?

25% Scholarship. Website says they offer 50% & 100% scholarships, so was a little surprised at 25%. Cost is high so unlikely to accept the offer.

GPA 7.86/10 Received the 50% scholarship. Gotta decide between Dartmouth and UPenn

We received 158 applications for an incoming class of 10 students. As a result, many highly qualified students had to be denied admission.

1 international paper publication, good research projects, decent GPA
