Typical rejection mail.

For those who applied& wait for Cornell, which research group do you guys applied?

University of Edinburgh MEng graduate with integrated masters. Was expecting a rejection I suppose! 6r/0a/0w/2p

I do not think that's true. I went to Cornell for my undergraduate and no one I know has been admitted. Even Alexis, the Asst Dir. of graduate programs confirmed that they are yet to release admissions decisions.

Not too surprised at this point about the rejection. Emailed them earlier this week and they said most admission decisions were made earlier. Am a US student who will plan to go to Georgia Tech instead

To the guy below, my friend already received admission from Cornell, civil engineering but he just did not upload his post..;; Basically, gradcafe is used for a few applicants.. Furthermore, JHU provides their static analysis about how many applicants receive admission..;; Usually, 20 people receive admission, but in gradcafe, only 1~2 people uploaded their results each year..

To the guy below, literal no one has been accepted, why do you think it's going to be a rejection for everyone if no one has been accepted? Do you have any insider information? Are they not accepting anyone this session?

waited a while for this one : ( No research exp but I went to Cornell for undergrad and have good 3yr industry experience so was hoping I had a shot Oh well! Good luck others!

Please, can we all email and ask for decisions? It's April 6th. This is totally unfair and unacceptable.

Didn't submit GRE scores. While applying, I had 6 research papers accepted for publication in good IEEE conferences and 1 paper published already. Also, did two research internships in NLP. Congratulations and best wishes to everyone who got acceptance !

Can we all please send emails to cornel civil engineering department? It's April 5th already and radio silence. If anyone from the department is here, I would like to point out that having a February first deadline is extremely problematic. It is best to have an early deadline and release decisions on time too, than this stunt Cornell is playing.

IGNORE WAITLIST. Has anyone not heard from the Cornell Applied Physics Program? Has anyone been in touch with them? They haven't responded to my emails.

Disregard status. Anyone get wait listed or rejected from Cornell in composition? I know acceptances have gone out. I still haven't heard anything definitive.
