Computer Science, California Institute of Technology Though it was a generic e-mail rejection, I liked the e-mail. I had worked with another Professor at Caltech and knew this was coming for the last one month - Was told about visit days etc etc and I didn't get one because my research didn't match with Caltech faculty (YY, AA). I had two papers under review at Core A* venues when I applied, one of which got accepted. It is Caltech though - super selective place. To , those who made it, enjoy the amazing collaborative culture :)

As you know, Caltech is a small school and as such we are able to admit only a small percentage of the applicants who apply each year.
