Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst "Denied". A very casual decision presentation. I applied many PhD and MS position. Probably will go to GaTech for MS first. Clearly Amherst doesn't evaluate PhD and MS admission in parallel (or am i misunderstanding?). Good luck to everyone who haven't received any admission. I haven't received any ad before April. So things may still happen.

Computer Science, University Of Oxford Ttpb: That sounds really strange. Why they dont even interview/reject/accept strong candidates for 2 months? POI said me that he is happy to work with me, but I am waitlisted. It is the best shot I have, so I am waiting.

Computer Science, UMass-Amherst Applied for MS/PhD, a reject was long time coming. If it's true that they only consider their "strongest" PhD candidates for MS, like someone mentioned they got a mail stating the same yesterday, they should mention as such on their website. My whole application was based on the promise that my application will be properly evaluated for MS; that certainly didn't happen. This is conning of the highest level if you are going to be spreading misinformation about how your application process works. Their website seems to suggest that as long as you submit your GRE scores, your application will be given a good look for MS.

Computer Science, University Of Massachusetts, Amherst Bruh what is good with this. Applied to PhD, got into Masters. (1) I put on my profile to only consider me for PhD (2) They released results a week after their new coronavirus date of 4/3 (3) I got an email 2 days ago saying my app was updated just to log in and see that the official decision would be up in 1-2 days. Seriously cuh, come one

Computer Science, University Of Oxford I applied about 2 months ago and still have not get an interview yet. I emailed asking the AO if they have rejected me already and the answer is no. They told me I am a strong candidate but still need to wait patiently for another two weeks. TBH I don't know what are they doing over the past months. I have already been admitted to better places but just want to see how this one ends, so far it's been not very pleasing. I'm gonna have to withdraw when April 15th hits.

Computer Science, University Of Waterloo I'm waiting for a decision. My future professor informally let me know almost acceptance in a few weeks ago, but Quest doesn't still show the result. I feel a little bit nervous about the final decision (and school life) in this pandemic situation.
