Recent Graduate Admission Results February 2021
Computer Science, Stanford University Low income student, went to state school because it was my only option financially. Won my university's undergrad CS prize, 5 pubs in mid-tier AI conferences (3 first author), and graduated summa cum laude. My letter writers were probably not "prestigious" enough? Not sure. Not sure what else I could have done given the opportunities available to me...

Computer Science, Dartmouth College TTPB: I didn't apply to Dartmouth's PhD program, but went to undergrad there and am involved in research projects with a professor there. He indicated that he was doing interviews this week and next week, so I think it will be a couple weeks before you hear back officially.

Computer Science LTI & Machine Learning, Carnegie Mellon University Rejected from LTI PhD. Haven't heard back from MLD... though so many others have, wish they would just reject and put me out of my misery. 5 pubs, strong GPA, strong LORs,

Computer Science, Dartmouth College TTPB: I had multiple interviews over the last couple weeks. If the prof told you that you have a high chance of being admitted, I think you shouldn't need to worry! We'll all hear back by the end of the month regardless of the decision; I doubt anyone has been formally accepted already.

Computer Science, University Of Texas At Austin Email still left the door open for them giving an admission offer "At this time, we do not anticipate extending further offers of admission to the CS PhD graduate program for Fall 2021. If for any reason that changes, we will contact you".
