Computer Science, Vanderbilt University MS in CS w/ Master's Thesis (and BS) from university in Big East conference. 1 journal publication (currently under review). GPA listed is for MS. Had interview with POI not mentioned in SOP last week, at the end of which he told me I would get a formal offer (which was received on 3/9). Marine veteran. First offer, almost certainly will accept.

Computer Science, UIUC TTPB: Yes, if you haven't anything from UIUC at this moment, it's 99.99% a rejection. I'm currently an undergraduate in UIUC and both of my POIs said that all PhD offers are out by 3.7 (virtual campus tour day for incoming PhDs). But still, you could try contact the department and try to get into the MSCS which I think is also a very decent program.
