Computer Science, University Of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) TTPB: If your POI isn't offering a position then chances are quite slim. The POI usually recommends the student to the departmental admission committee. I am in the same boat as you since my POI hasn't responded to anything since January. I guess rejections will come out only after 15 April.

Computer Science, University Of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) Thanks for responding! I don't want to give up hope but my POI sent me an email that he could not offer me a place in his lab due to current circumstances. But I am holding on to the department's decision. I am just anxious that they haven't sent me a decision yet.

Computer Science, University Of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) Am I the only one whose admission status has not been updated? It has been "Complete and under Review by Department" since I applied. Also, has any other person been admitted into the Ph.D program?

Computer Science, University Of Toronto TTPB: Same situation. Radio silence from the prof I contacted, and when I wrote to the department all I got is " we can only advise that applicants will be informed of a decision between February and April". The least they can do is send out the rejects, if that is the case.

Computer Science, University Of California, Irvine Area : AI/ML Interviewed on 19th Jan, interviewed again by the same Prof. on 4th March, Prof. asked me to attend UCI Grad Visit Day on 5th March, notified about acceptance on 19th March.

Computer Science, Columbia University Received an unofficial acceptance from POI after interviewing with them and receiving the NSF GRF this past week! Excited to be offered the opportunity to work in this novel and increasingly impactful research area. I have a tough decision ahead of me to make. Good luck to everyone else waiting!!
