Can people who were interviewed help me to prepare for an upcoming interview from another university? My domain is computer vision. What do professors ask or look for in an interview? Is it mostly about projects and papers published or professors also ask puzzles/theoretical questions?

Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin Today we are writing to inform you that our PhD admissions decisions have been made and the applicants we are recommending for PhD admission have been notified. Admission to our program is very competitive and we have many good applicants; unfortunately, we have to limit the number of students we admit. At this time, we do not anticipate recommending anyone else for admission to the CS PhD graduate program for Fall 2016. If for any reason that changes we will contact you.

Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin Hi, I'm one of the admits to UT Austin in the ML/AI/CV field. I did not have any top tier conference publications, I only had a workshop paper + poster. I was not interviewed. My acceptance came as an email from the PhD Admissions Committee of the CS department, I did not have any contact with any professors at UT Austin. I mentioned Dhillon and Chaudhuri in my SOP though.
