Computer Science, Stanford University I was mailed by the graduate admissions committee on 23 rd Jan, regarding my TOEFL waiver and that the Department is waiting for a Language certificate from my current school, and when asked about admission decisions, they said they are still working on it, and Interviews are not necessary for admissions that was what Graduate admissions team at Stanford told me.

Computer Science, Berkeley College CS & Math major. ~3 years research, 3 internships, 2 second-author publications, 1 first author journal submission in preparation. Very strong letters (I assume) and POI knew letter writers. Interviewed once then had a call from POI to discuss potential projects. Very excited!

Computer Science, Northwestern University I was contacted by POI via email 2 weeks back asking if I would like to join his group. I had already decided to go someplace else and hence had declined his offer. I got the official rejection via email today.

Computer Science And Engineering, Michigan State Universtiy I did really bad on the GRE but I've had 7 technical internships and I've been doing research for a while. 0 publications at time of application but right after I got one accepted. Accepted on Full Fellowship.
