Masters F22 Graduate School Admission Results

Spring 2023. Non CS undergrad

Technically starting in the 2023 summer term! Unfortunately, there was not an option to select anything but the fall or spring terms, so I picked what was closest. Applied to the one program and accepted the offer of enrollment.

I received an email stating to sign something to see my admission decision, but the page took me to my admit package. It took me about a month to hear back for the January 2023 cohort. Lots of leadership experience, no volunteer experience, no GRE, graduating this December with a bachelor's in biology. Relevant work experience included working as a science teacher at a summer camp, medical assistant for a clinic, and a research associate in a hospital's ER where I worked directly with patients.

Alert: this school has a history of ghosting applicants (or just international applicants). Interviewed in February, the interviewer told me the results would come out early March, but I was notified that I was waitlisted in April. The admission committee asked if i was willing to wait till June 1, which i agreed. But to my disappointment, nothing happened by the day. I felt like the school completely ignored my application. Since March, when the results should have come out, i had been writing to the admission committee again and again. They NEVER replied -- they didnt even read any of my emails (i had email tracker installed)

I had a low gpa in undergrad Social Science, but I had honors in duel minors of Philosophy minor (3.6) and Ethics ( 3.5) I enrolled in a seminary completed 12 units of theology Grad units (3.7) GPA Than I applied for the Philosophy program, and was accepted.
