Masters F22 Graduate School Admission Results

Bachelors in Child Development and speech pathology/physical therapy/occupational therapy internship experience. Super excited about this acceptance!

I am a certified health educator, I am a laboratory assistant, and had strong letters of recommendation. I held jobs throughout school as well as volunteer hours

According to their GPA calculations, I have a 4.0 in my last 60 credits. Out of field applicant. Tons of real-world experience teaching ESL with both kids and adults, about a year volunteering at an aphasia organization, lots of tutoring experience with kids (that I did during undergrad). I speak several languages fluently, have lots of international experience. Volunteered/observed at a clinic with an SLP for about 25+ hours. I'm a bit surprised to be waitlisted. :/

Got the email this morning! Financial aid decisions come out in March.

I am a non-traditional student with years of work experience including AmeriCorps, teaching ESL abroad, and working with people with developmental disabilities.

The admissions counselor was super friendly and kind. Had a virtual meeting today so I could get a feel for the school. Not a lot of funding, but that seems more like a budget thing than a me thing. Looks like I can't apply for assistantships until at least the summer. I think I would be happy at Brandeis, if I can afford to go.

Had an interview 2/11. So excited to get in!

Got an email to check the application portal and my decision letter was on there. I am honestly so happy to be waitlisted!!! I was rejected last year so this is a step up. IF ANYONE was accepted and is not going to attend please let them know:) this is my dream school and I would be so happy to get off the waitlist! Or if you are on the waitlist and are not going to attend please take yourself off:)

I was told unofficially that I got in with full funding and assistantship, just got the official letter this morning! Good luck to the others out there.

I just know that I am rejected; no interview requests and an email to the PI indicated that they were looking for very few applicants this year and I wasn't the right fit.
