Computer Science (MSIN), Carnegie Mellon University TTPB: I am not sure if that research question is for me but I will just answer it. I work as Soft Eng/Researcher in Medical Science. Regarding the interview, I have no idea. I didn't interview for this position. Good luck!

Computer Science, University of Southern California First admit of the season :-). Recieved an unofficial email from the Phd student at one of the labs POI is working on that they are interested in working with me. Later today, recieved the official admit via email. 3 patents/ 4 papers. 3.5 years work-ex in computer vision research. I say to all, Hang on. All the best!!

Computer Science, University College London TTPB: I totally agree. The profile is pretty average. For the most part, LOR and SOP are the most important. Also, there is no publication which is a complete drawback. Rest consider collaborating with the professor and work on the research papers. This will get you strong LOR and publication at the same time. This will reflect in your SOP which will consequently make your SOP strong.

Computer Science, University College London TTPB: @Aman Sharma, can't see your CGPA anywhere. Given that you're from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, you've done a lot of coding for sure. Here are a few pointers that might have been the reason for rejection in my honest opinions: 1. Statement of purpose 2. GPA (if less than 9) 3. Grades in relevant courses (if < 9) 4. Mediocre LORs (For branch switch, you'd need a very strong LORs to be considered) 5. Lack of research experience
