Computer Science, University Of Illinois Urbana Champaign Tier-3 private uni from India, garbage GPA (7.8/10). Papers in (ACL, NAACL, COLING, INTERSPEECH). Prof told me that he had to explain my GPA in the committee hearings. Recieved official email saying I've been recommended for admission to the graduate college by the CS Department.

Computer Science, University Of Ottawa IITian, 7.7/10 CGPA, 1 PG Scholarship, 2 major extracurriculars awards, Dual Degree. 7.0 IELTS. Strong Maths and CS Background. 2.5years as Software Development Engineer from Top Indian Company. I just don't understand why I was rejected. Was my safe school. Very Sad.. :-(
