Computer Science, Penn State (Pennsylvania State University) Will Penn State offer any admission to Fall 21 MSCS program this year? I am waiting only for PSU's results and with the whole visa slot fiasco, I am not sure how long should I wait. Is anyone desperately waiting like me? Also does PSU offer admits for freshers

Computer Science, University Of British Columbia Ttpb: who is asking about prof contact. I think there is no harm in contacting profs after completing the application. Especially, if you are applying for the phd track program, i believe you should definitely contact them.

Computer Science, Penn State University Ignore Waitlist: PSU has released a few admit (4-7), so I was wondering if that's it? They asked to wait till April end. How this makes sense? Do they want to give an offer when it's too late? Also, TAMU is the same. This is so dumb. What they want to achieve from this?? Anyone have something to say about this??

Computer Science, Texas A&M University - College Station (TAMU) Results of the MCS program are still not given by 4/11. If you send an email to ask if all decisions were given or when your decisions will be given, they always reply like this “If you have not been admitted or declined, your application is still being considered. You can check the status of your application in EngineeringCAS. It is up to the admissions committee as to when a decision is made. There is no specific date.†But the fact is you won't get useful information except “complete†in the engineering cas system even for those were already notified admitted in the email. Also, they insisted “There is no specific dataâ€. Yes, I know that. But the date is going close to 15 April, don't you think your efficiency is a little bit low? I don't know if the admission committee has been aware of the complaints on this forum as the staff in the email promised he/she would let them aware. Shame on you!

Computer Science, Texas A&M University - College Station (TAMU) I saw a few admits in march for MCS. But did anyone got admit for MS CS (Thesis?). And also anyone wrote a mail to the grad committee, by when will they be giving all decisions?

Computer Science, University Of Utah First rejection of the season. Quite surprised as this was supposed to be my safety school. Don't know what went wrong with my application. Could be the deferrals and the fact that Utah has a very small cohort. But I got my dream admit, so can't really complain much.
