Computer Science, Penn State (Pennsylvania State University) Got noticed via email. Had an interview with 2 professors interested in co-advising me (AI) on 2nd April. Received a letter recommending me for admission on 5th.

Computer Science, Arizona State University This college daily sent me emails to apply to them. I had been shown the ad for this college every time I open gmail, but when I applied, they rejected me in less than a week. This is worse than anything that has happened in my life. THIS SUCKS.

Computer Science, University Of Waterloo Checked quest to find out I was denied admission. No email. Was hoping to at least get an interview as no prof replied to emails initially. A little heartbroken, applying for coursework may have been a better option. Anyways, congratulations who everyone who got their acceptances.

Computer Science, Columbia University It is the 3rd week of April and almost all universities in the US have sent out their decisions. But Columbia, in spite of being an Ivy, has not yet sent out all their decisions. It reveals utter mismanagement in processing the applications. Columbia should understand the problem of the applicants who are still waiting for the decision.

Computer Science, Penn State (Pennsylvania State University) "Admission to the CSE department is extremely competitive. Each year more than 900 applications are received. Approximately 50 students are admitted in the fall semester, and an overwhelming majority of funded applicants are Ph.D. students." - PSU EECS website. Afaik, about 25 admits have been given already, they send decisions up to May second week.

Computer Science, Penn State (PSU) University Park TTPB: Can you please share your stats? I honestly don't know how competitive PSU is. Also, do you know what the intake of the program is and how approximately many admits have been sent out? Thanks a lot!!
