Recent Graduate Admission Results January 2022
Computer Science, Virginia Tech Applied to MEng and got immediately rejected. They informed me via email to check the portal and the portal rejection letter said I was not competent enough. I think they cut me off so quickly because my gpa and gre score looked horrible to them lol. Toefl score is 110.

Computer Science, Arizona State University Attended multiple hackathons during undergrad. Graduated CS a semester early. Held full time swe position in global tech company for a year, left to make an unsuccessful startup (release a product, but very low users). No research experience

Computer Science, University Of Waterloo Rejected for Spring 2022 for MMath CS Coop Had research work with Arxiv preprints and 1.5yrs of relevant experience. Waiting for result in Fall.

Computer Science, University of Pennsylvania Undergrad from a private university in India, GPA above 9, 3 A* conference publications, 1.5 years experience as a Research Assistant, 7 months (ongoing) experience at a MNC R & D, strong LOR from a well-known prof among others! Don't know what went wrong. All the best to everyone waiting for a result!
