Computer Science, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zurich) Rejected by email. They told me that they'd send me an official letter in the mail. Why the frick would I want an official rejection letter after receiving the email? Honestly, the ETH application is the most confusing and time consuming out of all of them.

Computer Science, Columbia College Does anyone know what the criteria was for interview calls and to expect in them? I ask because the Fall priority deadline is on 15th Feb and my application isn't complete yet since one recommendation letter is pending, and I received the interview invitation a few hours ago.

Computer Science, The University of Texas at Austin From a tier 1.5 Indian University. One research paper in an international conference, one best presentation award at a national conference. 9.5 GPA, 116 TOEFL, 335 GRE, three internships, two software engineering and one data science. 9 rejects and 2 acceptances to UChicago and USC so far.

Computer Science, Amherst College That was 10 straight rejects. Looks like no grad school for me. This straight up sucks. I went through 4 months of anxious waiting just to be denied by every university. I wish they would at least tell me what I did wrong, WHY they rejected me so I can improve on it. Gutted is understating how I feel right now.

Computer Science, Amherst College So UMass doesn't provide TA/RA opportunities to students in the MS-only track? Is it possible to change to MS/PhD track after starting the term at UMass? What kind of research opportunities do MS-only students have exposure to? Any bias against MS-only students when it comes to internships?
