"Thank you for applying to Hunter’s MFA in Creative Nonfiction. This is *not* a letter of acceptance, but I’m happy to tell you that you have made it to the next round for prospective candidates for the Hunter College MFA class in creative nonfiction for 2025-2027. We accept a maximum of six students each year and the next step in our process is for us to have a chance to talk with you about what you envision as your book-length project—essays, memoir or otherwise—and to answer any questions you might have about the program."
