Ignore status. Some of the nyu acceptances are definitely fake. A troll with a first class honours from Oxford (with 3.90 gpa) got rejected everywhere, including cambridge and Oxford MA and Vanderbilt/duquesne/etc programs. They’re the same person who posted the nyu rejection on March 1. It is possible that they are trolling around by replying to others’ posts saying they are real. This shows that going to Oxford doesn’t make you any special.
