Program HEP-ex. Last year I got rejected. But I made it this time. Don't lose your hope because of your grade. I work with my PI after graduation. I also did summer research at DESY remotely. For those who want to be competitive but don't have an excellent GPA(3.7+), try to get a publication or write an undergrad-level thesis. If your institute doesn't have a publication opportunity and you want to do research in HEP. Try to get a CERN account(you may need to talk to your PI), you can get tons of available undergrad research in there!
