Note

English minor, health allied major. Had some excellent recommendations and a strong resume (volunteered teaching creative writing to high schoolers, some publication history). I did specifically mention wanting to write with Rita Dove, but heard later from a mentor that apparently her health is suffering right now and she is not teaching very actively, which may have affected their consideration. They were my #4 school.
