- Seeing all posted acceptances have a 3.9-4.0 GPA leads me to think most of y'all are not even double majors who took courses that genuinely pushed you to your limits and challenged you to think in new ways outside of philosophy and as a philosopher. Philosophy is difficult. Getting A's in undergraduate courses philosophy and humanities courses is not. It staggers me how hardly anyone with less than a 3.85 posts an acceptance, if that even happens at all. If there are less 3.9's applying in philosophy, then adcoms have to put more effort in assessing our applications. Would be interesting to see how many of those rejected have that high of a GPA, because I'm aware that it can still happen. Just trying to keep those who are probably way too proud about their extremely high GPA as a philosophy major in check.
