I just called Notre Dame to inquire about the status of my application. They said they've sent out some rejection/acceptance letters, but that they have a pile of applications they haven't yet decided on. So- for everyone who hasn't heard yet, there is still hope! It's a bit strange that they would have wait-listed folks already without deciding on other apps, but that's what they said. Take it as you will.
