Applied from reputable large public institution in Canada Applied for CMT, was in contact with incoming professor in PME. 2 research experiences, (Perimeter Institute, Emory University), not sure what the quality of my LORs were. Graduate courses in quantum field theory, general relativity. This was my #1 choice, very disappointed. Good luck to everyone in application season!
