"I am writing about your TOEFL score, which unfortunately does not meet our university's requirement for full admission with no provisions or to receive funding as a teaching assistant. Therefore, our admissions committee cannot move ahead with your file. Specifically, your TOEFL score is XX speaking, and the minimum acceptable score is 24. To be eligible for admission, please send us new TOEFL or IELTS scores as soon as possible, but by April 1 at the latest. Note that our university accepts “super scores,” so you need only to achieve the required score on the TOEFL section, and lower scores on other sections will not affect your language eligibility.
