I applied by the funding deadline of Dec 5, status changed to PAO on Jan 10, and I received the email with a conditional offer on Jan 12. Did not have an interview. I had strong letters of recommendation, 1 publication in process, 3 months of full-time research experience, and 2 years of part-time research experience on 3 different projects.
