So this decision took 10 weeks, even after I had contacted them a month ago asking for an update. Honestly I'm glad I did not get in. Faculty and program director were completely unresponsive to emails. An email I sent in October finally got a response in March (after I had submitted my application in January) and the response was frankly very rude, telling me flaws in my application and that I should probably look for a different type of program. Not to have an ego, but I got into all my other schools which are all ranked incredibly high in comparison to Montana, yet Montana faculty thought that my application was not very strong and told me what I should do if I wanted to apply to programs in the future. I don't know about other programs but honestly good riddance to the Geography department at Montana. It's a shame because it was my top school for the longest time before they completely ghosted me and my application
