- Recieved a fax from Harvard, they told me my application was incorrectly flagged as a rejection. This is the happiest that I've ever been this week. When I saw the Harvard Letterhead, I began to weep—the stogie that I had previously lit and left unattended had filled the room with a rolling smoke, causing the aforementioned tears. I could barely see through the smoke to make out the typeface that Harvard uses. EB Garamond—typical. Most people don't take the time to notice these kinds of things, but when you get as many acceptances as I do, you begin to appreciate the small stuff. I don't plan on accepting anytime soon—I have a meaty handful of acceptances, and I've got my pudgie little fingers in a handful of waitlists. I plan on using them all as leverage so I can get Harvard to reimburse me for the cost of moving my man-servant to Cambridge. Has anyone heard from Rice? Signed, Lian Brieter 10a, 7w,0r,1p.
