Received an email from the department. They told me I have been recommended for admission to their PhD program, to Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA), and ask me to make admission decision by April 15th. But GEPA needs to deal with 12-15 working days with the official offer, so it will be after April 15th when I get the official offer, and I need to decline the offer from other universities. Dose anyone know if I will definitely receive an official offer after receiving the department nomination? If so, I will accept the offer and decline the other offers, and release some positions.
