If you are on the waitlist at a top 5 program and you're sitting there without making a decision when you know damn well what your choice is, then I am politely and humbly requesting that you cut the crap and accept your offer. No, you're not going to get a better offer than NYU or Rutgers or Princeton, and no, you're not going to leverage your other offer into an extra $10K for your stipend. Hurry it up. Ridiculous.
