0a/0w/14r/2l As you can see, I clearly must have done something terribly wrong in my process of applications. This one didn't surprise me but it still hurts. I worked very very hard to make the best of my situation (which in hindsight wasn't awful considering I was at least at a top 30 school) but I must have done something wrong in the process. A waitlist at the very least would have been reassuring for an academic career, but its looking more and more like I might have to give up on my dream. Hope everyone else finds the path they are looking for!
