I received an extremeley one-line unprofessional email which literally stated "I am truly sorry to inform you that we are not able to offer you admission to the Department of Political Science at MIT. We have had to refuse admission to some very well-qualified applicants. We appreciate your interest in MIT and wish you the very best with your future plans." and nothing else. Lol.
