Note

Receiving a rejection letter can be disheartening, but the lack of effort put into their response only adds insult to injury. That being said, I found myself laughing a little at the sloppiness of the letter. It's tough when you put your heart and soul into creating original and unique application materials, only to receive a generic and uninspired response. It was especially disappointing to be turned down when my research interests aligned so well with the program's and faculty's strengths.
