"The historical musicology faculty at Columbia enjoyed reading your application materials and would like to ask just a few follow-up questions—would you by chance have time to speak by phone/zoom at some point within the week? (I hesitate to call this a formal interview–more of an informal conversation about the program; I believe you may have already or will soon also hear from my colleague George Lewis.)"
